Deadline writes exciting news:

Arclight announced today it would be launching sales on World War I drama The Angel Makers, with Christina Hendricks, Emily Watson, Abbie Cornish, Max Riemelt And David Cross all in the cast. Jon Amiel directs the story, set in the Yorkshire Moors in 1917. Survival is key when the men leave to join the allied fight in France, leaving their wives to maintain the farms. At their disposal, an internment camp of German POWs, all too happy to offer up their services, ignite an air of dangerous romance. Affairs begin and lust blossoms into love as the women of Yorkshire Moors discover something far more powerful: independence. When the husbands return, everyone turns to Sarah Rigg (Hendricks), the midwife and witch doctor at the heart of the village, to mix the potions that can save a life… or take it away.

Producers include The Producers Films chief exec Jeanna Polley. Production begins in January next year.

I’ve added images from Venice film festival where Emily attended with the co-stars of Everest. There are high quality photos in the gallery from photocall and premiere of the movie from today, Sept 2! Emily looked gorgeous and got in the best dressed list of Harper’s Bazaar! Click on thumbnails and proceed to the gallery!

I’ve started filling the gallery with missing images and I decided to do the movie productions category. Hilary and Jackie is my absolutely favorite work of Emily! She is amazing and exactly portraying Jackie. Her character, Jacqueline Du Pre (Jackie) is a famous cellist, and the movie is about the real life of Jackie and her sister, Hilary du Pre, the flutist.

I have to mention that I admire Jacqueline Du Pre as a cellist in real life and it was very surprising and made me very happy to see Emily playing her. The movie is from the year 1998 and I saw it like five years ago probably.

Recommending you to see the movie and check out the screen caps!
